This is an instant classic. Tried the demo and want more. Great game.

I enjoyed the demo but I have too many games on my plate as it is. I may pick it up eventually though. Definitely a unique and interesting art style.

is this worth the 1200? i played the demo and thought it was cool... very braid-esque... which made me pause. while i liked braid, i felt it was a bit too high falutin' for the likes of games-on-rails guy like me. i solved a lot of the puzzles only after consulting youtube which i am guessing really is not what mr. blow had in mind...

anyway, i was playing through the demo and got to the spider and well.. you know... did the same. i suspect that that's not quite the transgression as destroying the meta-narrative of braid but the point is... how frustrating are we talking?

I checked out the demo and thought it was pretty cool. I liked the art style and the feel of the game. Not so sure if I like the $15 price tag tho. Perhaps if I didn't have a stack of retail games to play I'd check it out. Maybe I'll come back to it at some point, but I think I'm going to hold off for right now.

I went ahead and got the full version in a moment of weakness. I had the points in my account and I really wanted to see what all the buzz was about. I've barely played past the demo end point so I will report back after I get further along.

The puzzles so far are not as complex as Braid, which at times where nuts for sure. They are getting harder. I am stuck at one right now. Up until this one point I was able to figure things out after taking a break and coming back. Hopefully I will do the same again so I don't have to consult the youtubers. Its a good sit down and play for 5 - 15 minutes or even a 2 hour game. I still enjoy the art style. I find myself relaxing while playing. Even though a kid may be totally chopped to peaces by a table saw blade.

I actually turned the gore off. It was really bothering me for some reason. Maybe because I have two little boys, I guess.

Finished the game this morning. I would say the puzzles are no where near the complexity of Braid. There are definitely some tricky ones but nothing I had to consult youtube about. I may use youtube to find some of the achievements though. While Braid and LIMBO are similar, the puzzles are really different. Braid uses time travel/manipulation for pretty much all of them while the ones in LIMBO are more platformy/timing/physics based. I felt like in Braid, if you knew how to solve the puzzle, there were no tricky jumps or moves required. LIMBO had several parts that required perfectly timed jumps or button presses. Some of them seemed like trial and error which was a little frustrating. As far as your entertainment dollar, I think LIMBO is worth $15. I'm still going to be giving it some time to get the rest of the achievements.

thanks for your thoughts Pez & Moot. Think I'll wait for a price drop on this one. Still have that stack of full retail games (thought I bought for less than $15) to get through.
