Who else here still has a PSP?

If you do, I'd highly recommend checking out the new Patchwork Heroes demo that just hit PSN yesterday. It's a short demo, but a good taste of what is bound to be a truly unique game. If I had to classify it, I'd say it's an action-puzzler - but I don't think there is anything you can really compare it to.

Your goal is to use your team to cut down approaching warships by sawing off bits of ship. The warships are pretty massive, and there are enemies afoot so this is no easy task. Not to mention the ship is speeding towards your town as your attempt to tear it to shreds, and if you don't destroy it in time it's "GAME OVER MAN!"

Patchwork Heroes has tons of personality & charm, and again, it's pretty damn unique!

Dust off your PSP's and get at it!

comes out tomorrow, and for only $10!

good thing I have PSN credit ;)

I may however hold off playing this until May so I can keep it 'fresh' for the flight to Peru.

i got around to downloading this over the weekend. did see some reviews that attempted to describe it. the closest game it was compared to was qix but it really is quite a bit better. wasn't sure if i was "getting" everythin but i think that's a good thing... i.e., more complex than qix. there are a lot o elements in play here more than just cutting sections.

the game itself has a unique art style and overall feel. while different in style it has that "it" that reminds you what you're playing and that it's somehing different. like patapon or locoroco or braid or pb winterbottom. and for ten dollars..... that's a great price.

i haven't been getting good ratings on the levels, still not sure of all the components that that entails. looking forward to the psp playtime.

I bought this when it came out but have been doing my best to hold off playing it until my trip to Peru in May. Want to have something new to play during the multiple flights we'll be taking as well as when just killing time in my tent along the hike.

Even thinking of picking up a PSP Go for the trip :(
