anyone read this? i read it over vacation. interesting read, will probably write a review of it later. need to re-read one chapter. don't want to discuss just yet but i found i was with the author all the way until near the end when i just thought, "wtf? did i just read that?" anyway...

Have not read, but you have me intrigued...

it's an interesting read. don't think it crosses over too well in terms of being read by a non-gamer. off the top of my head, spends a good deal of time looking at the attraction of some great games... mass effect, fallout, L4D, GTAIV. interviews with cliff b, jonathon blow, peter molyneux, guy from ubisoft re: FCI 2.

a great look at components of a great game.. things that unite games, areas that should/could be better.
